The Microbiological Laboratory of PTA Food Lab & Nutritional Services LTD performs microbiological analysis on:

  •  food raw materials,
  • processed foods (intermediate or finished products)
  • drinking water (tap and bottled)
  • sea water,
  • swimming pools, Jacuzzis
  • wells,
  • waste water after tertiary treatment
  • various work surfaces or hands of food handlers during working or after washing and disinfection and
  • Air from various locations where ready to eat foods are handled

The technical capabilities of the lab are very extensive, both in production level and in the capability of identifying various pathogens.
